My recovery drinks

Lot of friends have always asked me about Protein shakes, and drinks that I use. To be honest, I have never ever used a Protein shake from the market. There is one that I bought recently, only after reading about the natural ingredients in it, and I seldom use it.

Shake #1 –

ingredients –

  • 1 banana
  • 1 glass milk- whole milk (replace this with Coconut/Almond Milk)
  • 3 full spoons of Hemp Powder (get it at Whole Foods)
  • Half table spoon of Cocoa powder
  • Some Cranberries
  • Turmeric (I sometimes add this, as it acts as an anti-inflammatory)

Shake #2 –

ingredients –

  • 1 cup of Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 glass milk- whole milk (replace this with Coconut/Almond Milk)
  • 3 full spoons of Hemp Powder (get it at Whole Foods)
  • Half table spoon of Cocoa powder
  • Some Nuts- I prefer Walnuts

Shake #3 –

Blueberry Coconut Protein Shake ingredients – this is protein rich  [No milk] Blend:

  • 1 glass coconut water (get it from Costco, be careful about the ‘from concentrate’ 
  • 3 full spoons of Hemp Powder (get it at Whole Foods)
  •  Handful of blueberries
  • 1 spoon of Almond butter

Shake #4 –

This is available in the market, and I picked this up, to keep it handy when I am not home.
