Lot of friends have always asked me about Protein shakes, and drinks that I use. To be honest, I have never ever used a Protein shake from the market. There is one that I bought recently, only after reading about the natural ingredients in it, and I seldom use it.
Shake #1 –
ingredients –
- 1 banana
- 1 glass milk- whole milk (replace this with Coconut/Almond Milk)
- 3 full spoons of Hemp Powder (get it at Whole Foods)
- Half table spoon of Cocoa powder
- Some Cranberries
- Turmeric (I sometimes add this, as it acts as an anti-inflammatory)
Shake #2 –
ingredients –
- 1 cup of Frozen Blueberries
- 1 glass milk- whole milk (replace this with Coconut/Almond Milk)
- 3 full spoons of Hemp Powder (get it at Whole Foods)
- Half table spoon of Cocoa powder
- Some Nuts- I prefer Walnuts
Shake #3 –
ingredients – this is protein rich [No milk] Blend:
- 1 glass coconut water (get it from Costco, be careful about the ‘from concentrate’
- 3 full spoons of Hemp Powder (get it at Whole Foods)
- Handful of blueberries
- 1 spoon of Almond butter
Shake #4 –
This is available in the market, and I picked this up, to keep it handy when I am not home.
